Journeyman Weapon Systems Engineer

Teleios Defense Solutions, LLC is seeking bright and motivated Journeyman Weapon Systems Engineer to join our growing team located in Huntsville, AL! This role is designed for an engineer who thrives on high-level mathematics and physical principles, applying them to solve complex problems in Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testing to support the full lifecycle of weapon system development.

What You'll Do:
As an Engineer at Teleios, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of exciting projects, including:
Development and execution of Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and Systems Performance Analysis.
Weapon System hardware and software prototyping.
Development, integration, and testing of Weapon System components (Guidance Electronics Units, Sensors/Seekers, Control Actuation Systems, etc.) in a Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) environment.
Seeker/weapons systems analysis, algorithm development, seeker/sensor hardware, and/or test support for live fire test events.

What You'll Bring:
Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, from an ABET-accredited university with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Professional Experience: 5–10 years in the defense or aerospace industry.
HWIL Expertise: Proven ability to integrate and test seeker/sensor hardware within a simulated environment.
Versatility: Ability to transition between "the math" (algorithm development) and "the metal" (hardware testing and live fire support).
Communication Skills: Comfortable interacting and presenting to government customers and management.
Team Player: Good people skills and a desire to collaborate with a highly technical team.
Experience with PYTHON, C++, ANSYS, AFSIM and/or MATLAB.
Important Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
