Teleios Defense Solutions, LLC is seeking bright and motivated Budget Analyst to join our growing team located in Huntsville, AL! This role is designed to provide comprehensive financial, budgetary, and programmatic support to civil service personnel at the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center. You will navigate complex, multi-source defense budgets and translate financial data into actionable insights for government leadership to ensure that warfighter programs remain on scope and within fiscal constraints.

What You'll Do:
Budget Execution & Tracking: Execute day-to-day budget tracking and cost-estimating using DoD financial systems (e.g., GFEBS, and AvMC Integrated Center Information System (AICIS)).
PPBE Lifecycle Support: Assist in planning, programming, budgeting, and executing (PPBE). Support the preparation and maintenance of long-range spend plans and budget exhibits.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Consolidate program data, track labor and travel charges, and deliver accrual reporting to government stakeholders and technical leads.
Data Integration: Leverage data analytics tools (such as Excel and Power BI) to develop executive dashboards and streamline financial forecasting.
Anomaly Resolution: Investigate financial anomalies, trace obligations and expenditures, and perform account reconciliations to ensure the availability of funds.
Compliance: Ensure financial planning strictly adheres to Fiscal Law, DoD policies, and federal acquisition regulations.
What You'll Bring:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of specialized experience in government financial management, cost estimation, or budget analysis.
DoD Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in applying Department of Defense financial management structures and tools, particularly GFEBS, DTS, and ATAAPS.
Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) required; experience developing or utilizing Power BI tools desired; experience with utilizing ServiceNow desired. and experience utilizing BI tools.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex technical financial data to high-level government managers clearly and concisely.
Important Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (Active Secret clearance preferred).
